German artist Boris Eldagsen shocked the world of photography when his work "The Electrician" won one of the prestigious annual Sony World Photography Awards. It is part of his Pseudomnesia series - an image he created entirely using artificial intelligence.

He entered the "creativity" category to test whether the organisation had done its homework on AI-generated images. Turns out, it didn't. Eldagsen sparked an important discussion that should have spurred the prize organizers to create a separate competition for AI-generated imagery.

Boris studied photography and fine art at the Academy of Art in Mainz (Vladimir Spacek & Klaus Vogelgesang), conceptual art and in - termedia production at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (Miloš Šejn & Milan Knížák) and fine art at the Sarojini Naidu School of Arts & Com - munication Hyderabad in India (Laxma Goud). His photomedia works have been exhibited at international exhibitions and festivals such as Fridericia - num Kassel, Deichtorhallen Hamburg, CCP Melbourne, ACP Sydney, DTDF, EMAF Osnabrück, Bundeskunsthalle Bonn, Edinburgh Art Festival, FOR - MAT Festival Derby, Encontros da Imagem Braga, FestFoto Porto Alegre, Photolux Biennale Lucca, Singapore International Photography Festival, PhotoVisa Krasnodar, Noorderlicht Groningen, Voies Off Festival Arles, Media Forum Moscow, WRO Media Art Biennale Wroclaw, Biennale Le Havre and Biennale of Electronic Arts Perth.

Jakub Jansa is an artist combining various media from film to installations to live performances. His exhibition series, Club of opportunities, features a hybrid figure of a man and the root vegetable celery. Through it, he reveals issues of hierarchy, class and cultural relations. He uses fiction, humor and elements of the grotesque to create exhibition environments that tell stories about contemporary social issues. His exhibitions tend to merge with the architecture of the spaces they inhabit. They are reminiscent of film or television sets, where the narrative gradually unfolds through a carefully considered dramaturgy of individual elements (video, objects, live action). Jansa has presented his work at the Ljubljana Biennial (2021), the CCA in Tel Aviv (2019), HEK in Basel (2020), Pioneer Works in New York (2018, as part of the PAF Festival), Anthology Film Archives (2023), and the Athens Biennial (2018), among others. He is the recipient of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award for 2021. The latest, eighth episode of the Club was created for the exhibition Floral Union, organized by the National Gallery Prague on the occasion of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2022. His works are represented in the collections of the National Gallery Prague, the Prague City Gallery and the private Havrlant Art Collection.

Lenka Hámošová is an expert in the creative use of artificial intelligence with more than 15 years of professional experience in design and visual communication. She advises on the integration of creative AI tools into specific workflows and educates students on the meaningful integration of AI into artistic practice. Her lectures aim to raise awareness of the challenges facing the creative industries in the AI era. In addition to her professional activities, Lenka is currently engaged in academic research and continues her PhD studies at FAMU in Prague. She is heavily involved in cultivating a community of AI enthusiasts, as evidenced by her initiatives such as launching the first Creative AI meet-ups in Prague and her curatorial work at the Uroboros festival.

Anna is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in political science, engineering production management and international management and extensive experience gained in six countries. She has spent the last five years at high-growth technology startups where she led marketing and business development. Anna, is creative and excels in innovative use of technology, working with language models and no-code automation. Anna co-founded the Workplace Design Institute with Johanna Sedlacek, where she handles business development and internal operations. And she serves on the non-executive board of Meditorial and is a member of MeetyMeety's Advisory Board. As a lecturer at the European Leadership Academic Institute, Anna shares her insights, practical usage regarding the application of generative AI in marketing, sales and business development.

Jakub Klaška is an architect and educator based in London and Prague. He is the founder of KLASKA Ltd and co-founder of Studio NOLA, which is actively involved in architectural design. KLASKA Ltd operates at all scales of architectural practice and encourages collaboration with other practices and professionals from related disciplines and beyond. Today's technological and computing advances present us with a great opportunity to make sophisticated architectural designs available for any project project. Only a truly innovative approach based on design throughout the entire chain of project phases can materialize in architecture capable of fulfilling environmental, social and cultural ambitions.Prior to establishing his own practice, Jakub Klaska worked as a senior associate at Zaha Hadid Architects from 2010-2023. During his time at ZHA, he was involved in a diverse range of significant projects.In addition to his work in practice, Jakub Klaska teaches on the MA programme at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, and is also a visiting lecturer at the University of East London. He sees academic engagement as a testing ground for exploration and innovation, the search for the new, the use of technology, working practices and modes of production. Jakub received his Master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Zaha Hadid Masterclass at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna in January 2010, having previously studied at the University of Architecture, Art and Design in Prague. He went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice & Management in Architecture at The Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL in 2016 and has since been an ARB registered architect.

She is a guarantor of the study programmes Theory of Interactive Media (M.A.) and Digital Culture and Creative Industries (Ph.D.) at Masaryk University. Her research has long focused on the cultural history of the robot, robotic art and software art. Recently, he has been engaged in curatorial experiments with artificial intelligence. In collaboration with TIC gallery, she organized the online exhibition BLACK BOX, curated by artificial intelligence, during the Covid 19 disease pandemic (Horáková-Kupková-Miklánek, 2020). In 2021, AI completed the epistemological tool VasulkaLIveArchive.net (Horáková - Schimmel - Sikora - Miklánek and Barok) for Vasulka Kitchen Brno, which allows to search for visual and sound leitmotifs in the work of Steina and Woody Vasulka. As part of the PROTOTYP festival, she organized the exhibition AI & Art (2022), which took place simultaneously in Brno and Hong Kong. She published a collective monograph on archives of new media art and the use of artificial intelligence in the role of curator (Horáková - Kupková - Szücsová: The Black Box Book: Archives and Curatorship in the Age of Transformation of Art Institutions. MUNI PRESS, 2022). The Black Box and Vasulka Live Archive curatorial projects were presented at the Ars Electronica International Festival in 2020 and 2022, respectively. The Vasulka Live Archive project was awarded the MUNI Innovation Award in 2023.

Karin Grohmannová is an architect who has been professionally organizing architectural competitions for over ten years with the CCEA MOBA team. She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University, where she is currently an assistant in the landscape studio Fingerová-Grohmannová, and started her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University. She is also interested in energy management in industry and smart cities.

Marcel Kraus is the head of the Hyb4City department at the Hybernská Campus of Charles University. He is also the initiator of the TAH Centre - Technology, Art, Humanities, a creative and innovation centre focused on promoting transdisciplinary innovation.Marcel actively formulates policies that support innovation in the cultural and creative industries. Since 2019 he has been a member of the Global Creative Economy Council, a joint venture between the Centre for Policy and Evidence in the Creative Industries and the British Council.Marcel has worked at the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, where he managed programmes supporting applied research in the arts, humanities and social sciences and advocated for gender equality in research and innovation. He worked in the Innovation Transfer Systems Department at the Fraunhofer Institute IMW in Leipzig, Germany. Prior to his career in innovation, he was an actor and singer in musical theatres.

Štěpán Kleník studied aesthetics at Charles University in Prague and New Media at the Academy of Fine Arts (AVU). As a PhD candidate at AVU, he explores technological democratization within cultural institutions and the impact of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, on visitor experiences. Central to his research is the exploration of how technology fosters inclusivity and democratic presentation of art, while concurrently mediating critical knowledge.

Jan Macek has many years of experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. In recent years, he has served as Co-CEO of The MAMA AI, a company formed around the team of AI experts behind the IBM Watson product line. At MAMA AI, Jan Macek leads, among others, the collaboration with Federico Díaz and the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Jan Macek has a degree in engineering and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU (Biocybernetics and Artificial Intelligence), which he followed with a postdoc position at University College Dublin in the field of machine learning applications for speech recognition and natural language processing.

Kateřina Eklová is an expert in sustainable buildings and architecture. She is the co-founder of Rethink Architecture, an organization that educates architects and developers about sustainable architecture. At the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University, she is a PhD student researching building sustainability from an economic, environmental and social perspective and teaches development, economics and management. She has worked as a developer in commercial and residential development in the Czech Republic and abroad. Her vision is to transform the building industry into a sustainable one that contributes to people and the environment.

Jakub graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam in 2012. For the next six years he worked in graphic design focusing on new media and web development, mostly in collaboration with artists and architects. In 2018 he returned to Prague to work as art director for VOGUE Czechoslovakia, where he worked for the next five years. In 2020, he began to take his interest in photography more seriously and has since been published in various editions of VOGUE and photographed campaigns and lookbooks for designers such as Zuzana Kubickova, Zoltan Toth, Tomas Nemec, JARDA PRAHA and others. Currently he is also working as an art director for WIRED Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Kateřina Havrlant is an investor, patroness, and art collector, with many years of experience in technology and business. Until 2021, she held senior global positions at Google in the UK, USA, and Switzerland. Among other things, she was in charge of Android, the topic of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and sustainability. She is now a Partner at Rockaway Ventures, an angel investor in technology startups, and deals with the topic of ESG (Environmental, social, and governance). She has been supporting contemporary art for a long time, but also social and cultural projects.
