We are looking for AI and art projects!
Enter the open call to select the best projects combining generative AI and visual content. We welcome all genres and diverse forms - from video, moving image, animation, game environments to artificially created images or post-produced still photography. Thefiveselected projects have the opportunity to be presented by the authors* in person or via stream at the Creative Edge - Generative AI and Visual Culture conference held on 4 November 2025 as part of Ai Days in the New Spiral at the Exhibition Grounds in Prague.
The deadline for submissions to the competition is 15 September 2025.
The Early bird discounted price is valid until 15 July 2025.

- CV (CV in .pdf format in English)
- Portfolio (presentation of work to date in .pdf format in English, max 10 MB)
- Project + image part (project description in maximum 1 000 characters, all in one .pdf file in English max. 10 MB)
- All email attachments must be properly labeled with the author*s name and title - CV / Portfolio / Project / Name

- If you wish to apply for another project, you must submit another application
- Participation fee for one project is 870 CZK / 35 EUR (Early bird 690 CZK / 28 EUR)

Introduction of the jury:
Daria Hvížďalová - specialist in artificial intelligence, co-founder of the industrial software company Mainware and member of the board of directors of the innovative educational institute 42 Prague, part of the international network École 42 and under the Czech patronage of Škoda Auto focusing on programming. She is interested in the connection between education and artificial intelligence and teaches "Artificial Intelligence in Business Processes" at the European School of Business and Management. Forbes magazine ranked her in the 30 under 30 in 2023.
Boris Eldagsen - internationally recognized expert in AI-generated visual output. Berlin-based artist specializing in photography, conceptual art and intermedia. He uses his experience in art and philosophy to lecture on art, photography and creativity theory at more than 20 universities and art schools worldwide. His rejection of the Sony World Photo Awards in April 2023 started a global debate about the relationship between photography and images generated by artificial intelligence.
Markéta Kinterová - editor-in-chief of Fotograf magazine and artistic director of the eponymous organisation Fotograf Zone, which runs Fotograf Gallery and Fotograf Festival. She visits many international festivals and is a member of the European talent support platform Futures. She has had numerous solo and group exhibitions. Since 2016 she has been the head of the documentary photography studio at FAMU in Prague.
Claudia Larcher - artist, filmmaker and AI researcher exploring the intersection of photography, AI and materiality. Her work includes video animations, collages and installations, exploring digital humanism, algorithmic images and the evolving relationship between photography and technology. She has exhibited internationally and is currently a resident in the ARTTEC program at the Austrian Institute of Technology.
